The Goodland Kiwanis Club is committed to help fund the new cabin being built at the new Victory Junction (www.victoryjunction.org) in Kansas City. Also helping with the new world wide Kiwanis Project, the Eliminate Project (http://sites.kiwanis.org/Kiwanis/en/theELIMINATEproject/home.aspx) October 1, 2007 - Goodland is proud to be the home for new Kansas District Division 12 Lt. Governor Brad L. Schields. His position was held for 2 years. January 1, 2008 - Our Kiwanis Club kicked off our U.S. Flag Project. For $30 per year the club will place a flag in your yard sunrise to sunset 5 times a year (Memorial Day, Flag Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day). After 3 years we place 650 flags out each time.
June 6, 2009 - 60th Anniversary Celebration (1949-2009) All funds that are raised throughout the year provides financial support for many of our kids and community needs. Chartered a Circle K at NW Tech in March 2010 and currently have 20 members with three State officers.
